Redeem a Price Lock deposit

Guests have the option to put a deposit on a season pass in the form of a Price Lock card. Paying for a Price Lock makes the guest eligible for the season pass pricing that was in effect at the time of the Price Lock purchase. To complete the purchase of the season pass, the guest must use the Price Lock card no later than the expiration date printed on the card.

1. Obtain the physical Price Lock card from the guest
Each price lock card is tied to a specific guest that is already in the Siriusware system. A price lock card can not be used to purchase a pass for a different guest.
2. Ask the guest which pass item they wish to purchase
Only Snowbowl Unlimited and Snowbowl Value pass items are eligible for the Price Lock program. If a guest has paid for a Price Lock deposit, and wants to purchase a Power Pass, they can still use the deposit funds towards the purchase, but the Power Pass item must be sold at the current price.
3. Add the pass item to the sale
The regular price of the season pass will be displayed.
4. Press the Set Guest Button
The Information Dialog will be displayed.
5. Set the Guest
Select the Guest Info tab if necessary, type the first and last name exactly as printed on the Price Lock card and press the search button to find the guest. If multiple guests are available with the same name, use the Pass Inquiry button to choose the one with the Price Lock card. Use the New Photo button and take a new picture if necessary. When done, press the Save button.
6. Set the DateTime
Press the DateTime button and use the calendar to select the last day of the Price Lock sale. For instance, the spring 2015 price lock sale ended on May 15, 2015. The price of the pass item will change to reflect the pricing the guest locked in.
7. Swipe the Price Lock card
The Price Lock deposit must be used towards the purchase of the season pass.
8. Acknowledge that an additional payment type is necessary
A dialog will appear telling you that the amount of the Price Lock deposit is not enough to complete the sale. Click OK to acknowledge that an additional payment type is necessary to complete the transaction.
9. Confirm the deposit
A dialog will appear showing the payment amount from the Price Lock deposit that will be applied to the purchase. Click OK to apply the entire deposit amount.
10. Apply additional payment types
The Finalize Dialog will appear showing the Price Lock deposit as payment type 1. Swipe a credit card to put the remaining balance on it, or choose a different payment type to complete the transaction.
