Exchange a Gift Card

There are a number of scenarios when it may be helpful to exchange a gift card product. The easiest way to replace one gift card with another is to sell a new gift card and use the old gift card(s) as the payment.

1. Add an Open Price Gift Card to the Sale
Press the Gift Card Open Price Button.
2. Set a Guest
Press the Set Guest Button and set a guest by either searching for an existing guest or typing all of the required information for a new guest.
3. Set the Gift Card Amount
Select the Debitware Tab on the Guest Information Dialog. Type a dollar amount in the Additional field, then press Save.
4. Press Finalize
Press the Finalize Button.
5. Pay with One or More Gift Cards
Swipe the old Gift Card or Gift Cards (up to 4) to pay the balance of the sale.
