If a tip is entered incorrectly when finalizing a sale, the transaction can still be altered up until the operator has performed a close out.
This can only be done by a supervisor.
  1. Recall Button.png

    1. On Any Bar Sales Point, Click the Recall Button

    The Recall Sale dialog will appear.

    2. Search for the Sale

    Use the minus (-) button to select the current date.
    Click the Exclude button next to the work Finalized to change the selection to Include.
    Type any additional information (such as Operator or Sales Point) you'd like to include to narrow down the list of search results.
    Press the OK button, and a list of matching sales will appear.
    If you get the message Unable to find any matching sales, remove one or more search criteria to broaden the search.

    3. Select the Appropriate Sale

    Any sale that is marked as Finalized Pending can be altered.
    Select the one you need to correct and then press OK.
    The sale will be loaded and the items will appear grayed out on the screen.

    4. Click the Tools Button

    Assuming that a supervisor is logged in, the list of Tools will appear.
    If a supervisor is not logged in, the option to override the current user's credentials will be presented and a supervisor can swipe in.

    5. Click the Action Button

    The list of Actions will appear.

    6. Click the Reverse Payment Button

    The Reverse Payments dialog will appear.

    7. Reverse the Payment

    Click the Reverse button next to the payment in question so it turns a darker shade of blue, then click the Reverse button in the bottom right corner or the dialog.
    The sale will remain on the screen with the items grayed out, ready to be finalized again.

    8. Press the Finalize Button

    The Finalize dialog will appear.

    9. Press the VISA button

    The Select Payment Type dialog will appear.

    10. Press the Button with the Saved Card Information

    The Select Payment Type dialog should have a button with the card type and last four digits used for the original transaction.
    Press it, and the Credit Card Manual Entry dialog will appear with the stored card information.

    11. Press OK

    Press OK to confirm that you want to use the stored credit card, and the Finalize dialog will appear again.
  12. 12. Enter the Correct Tip Amount

    After entering the correct tip amount, you may have to press OK on up to four screens to confirm that you want to finalize the sale.
    That's it! The operator may now close out.
