Accessing RDS with a browser

To access your remote applications using your browser, just visit the website:

https://rds.purgatoryresort.com/rdweb


You can access the above website from anywhere! Inside our network or from home!


** Note, you must use https://


To login, use your network username and password.


When you have logged in, you will be presented with a list of Remote Application that your account has access to:

One click and your browser will launch the application for you (when access the website with Internet Explorer).

If you use Google Chrome or Firefox, the browser will download a specific file for the application. You can save this file to your desktop and rename it (so you can run the application without visiting the website!) or you can click “save and run”.


Another way to access your remote applications

Windows 7, Windows 8 and Windows 10 have built-in support for RemoteApps. To add your RemoteApps to your computer (shortcuts), go to Control Panel:

Click on RemoteApp and Desktop Connections:

Click on “Set up a new connection with RemoteApp and Desktop Connections” (located on the left sidebar):

On the new screen, type:

https://rds.purgatoryresort.com/RDWeb/Feed


As shown on this example:

Click Next. Once the process is completed you should see a screen with similar to:

Go ahead and close this screen. Your RemoteApps are now available to you in your Start, “All Programs”, RemoteApp and Desktop Connections:

If you use these applications often, you can right-click on them and select “Send to, Desktop”. That way you can easily access your applications at any time!
